Sanctuary hills fixing the roofs help on xbox one ok so a couple months ish ago i started playing fallout 4 for the first time and like everyone else i wanted to find a way to fix the holes in the roofs in sanctuary hills.
If you really want to use one of the surviving houses in sanctuary hills and want to patch up the wrecked roof i ve found a pretty simple way.
Press either or to access the console then enter tcl to toggle collisions.
Use the workshop to restore sanctuary s houses and bridge to their former glory.
Massive roof overhaul is the next expected phase of this project.

This is a compromise since adding the actual extruded window would require odd shaped floor pieces.
Try building stairs to the roof.
Sanctuary s settlers don t seem to be making much progress on fixing those houses.
All this mod does is replace the meshes of the roofs in sanctuary from the broken post war roofs to the pre war roofs while still keeping the post war rusted textures.
This had the same issue but with sturges when i was trying to complete the sanctuary side quest.
Compatible with existing settlements.
Added new floor types.
This mod allows you to repair sanctuary s houses using the workshop interface restoring their roof and outer walls and cleaning the interior.
It also fixes an issue where houses might not register as repairable.
Or use those fundaments there is a pure wooden one and one with concrete.
If you don t use patch job there will still be holes in the texture of the roof because that s how the vanilla textures were made.
Most efficient way to repair the roofs in santuary hill is to build around the houses till you are above the roofs and then build a floor ontop of them.

Building stairs is a good fix.
Carport brick parquet and plank further texture optimizations expected added the carport roof type.
It does require using the console though so pc only.
Those fundaments are the only tile akaik that can sink into the ground or in this case into the damaged roof.
If you want a job done right do it yourself.
This is a real simple pre war ish build.
