It s plagued bethesda games as far back as i can remember and they still haven t found a way to fix it or just choose not to. I ve played with a few mods yet i m not sure witch one caused it. However as i try to put down furniture or decoration to the floor and ceiling of the preexisting building it goes through it and therefore inplaceable but i can place it upon the ground. Now the magic simply modpos z 544 all those floor pieces and voila you now have a viable build surface inside the castle hallways.
